3/19/2025 Draft Proposed Zoning By-Law Amendments

A public hearing was held on 3/19/2025 to hear input regarding four proposed amendments to the Princeton Zoning By-Laws. The proposed amendments dealt with (1) allowing conversion of a new subset of single-family dwellings to multi-family dwellings; (2) regulating the construction of buildings in flood plains; (3) adopting design criteria for common driveways; and (4) adopting an overlay district for high-density multi-family zoning, as required by state law. These draft proposed amendments addressed issues brought to the Planning Board or needed for compliance with state law. See this letter for more information.

10/11/2024 Draft Proposed Zoning By-Law Amendments

A public hearing was held on 10/11/2024 to hear input regarding four proposed amendments to the Princeton Zoning By-Laws dealing with accessory dwelling units (“ADUs”), home occupations (short-term rentals and boarders), junk and unregistered motor vehicles, and design criteria for common driveways. The draft proposed amendments addressed issues brought to the Planning Board, or in the case of ADUs, changes required by state law. See this letter for more information.

1/5/2022 Proposed Marijuana Amendment 

A public hearing was held on 1/5/2022 to hear input regarding proposed amendments to the Princeton Zoning By-Laws. The proposed amendments dealt with the commercial cultivation, processing, and manufacturing of marijuana in Princeton, and included resident-proposed amendments referred to the Planning Board by the Select Board, and related Planning Board-proposed amendments.
