Volunteer for Trail Development and Maintenance
The work of the Open Space Committee requires many hands! We had over 20 volunteers helping with the creation of both the Calamint Hill and Cobb Brook trail areas in the past two years.
Some Opportunities to Get Involved
Help with Planning
- Join the Open Space Committee or the Princeton Land Trust to work on higher level planning of open space protection
Become a Trail Steward
- Take over management responsibility for one of our trail areas.
- Do regular cutting and cleaning of trails.
- Communicate annually to OSC on the status of the trails.
- Organize trail building or maintenance projects.
Become a Trail Worker
- Cut brush
- Prepare trails
- Prepare signage and kiosks
- Help with a trail event day
