The office of the Tax Collector is responsible for the collection of Real Estate, Personal Property, and Motor Vehicle Excise taxes.
Delinquent tax payments are collected through various processes such as sending demand bills, utilizing the Deputy Tax Collector, and tax takings.
The goal is to achieve these responsibilities while providing the highest level of customer service and support to all of the Town's taxpayers as well as satisfy the legal requirements set forth in Massachusetts General Laws and the Town's by-laws.
