Princeton Public Safety Project
General and Trade Contractor – Request for Qualifications
The town of Princeton invites Qualifications from GENERAL and TRADE Contractors. This is a General Construction Project pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 149. Response to this Request for Qualifications is the first step in a two-phase procurement process.

Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) shall be submitted electronically at www.BidDocs.com. Hard copies will not be accepted by the Awarding Authority.

Project
REQUEST for GENERAL AND TRADE CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS for the Princeton Public Safety project. Replacement of the main Fire Station and Police Station with a new, combined, public safety building. The new approximately 14,000 sf building consists of 2 stories with vehicle bays, garage, holding cells, administration area, dispatch center, fitness center and offices. There are no public utilities so the new site will need a well water system, a septic system, fire suppression water storage tank and PFAS remediation system. Estimated total project duration is 16 months.

Only prequalified General and Trade firms, who are prequalified by the Awarding Authority, will be invited to submit a bid for the Building Project pursuant to M.G.L. c. 149, § 44E. The Owner’s Project Manager is The Vertex Companies, LLC. and the Project Designer is Caolo & Bieniek Associates.
