Non-Town-Committee Appointments

The Selectboard appoints members of most of the Town’s Committees. There are some other positions they fill that aren’t on a Town committee. The following positions are filled by the Selectboard and don’t have a Committee page.

Town Perambulator

• The Town Perambulator officially ‘witnesses’ (visits and marks) the stone monuments that mark the ‘corners’ of Princeton
• There are 24 monuments to be located, marking the points of bearing changes in the legal boundary line dividing Princeton from the surrounding towns
• Witnessing is required every five years by a long-standing Commonwealth statute, and is typically accomplished by painting the year on the Princeton face of each monument, and reporting back to the Selectboard upon completion of the project.
• Appointed by the Selectboard for a 5-year term
• Brian Keevan’s term expires 6/30/28

Monty Tech School Committee Representative

• Appointed by the Selectboard for a 4-year term
• John Mollica’s term expires 6/30/28

Central Mass Regional Planning Commission (CMRPC) Alternate

• Appointed by the Selectboard for a 1-year term
• Larry DeBlois’s term expires 6/30/26
