Deb called meeting to order at 7:32 PM
Approve Minutes:
Deb made a motion to approve the minutes from February 5, 2025. Ed seconded. All in favor.
This meeting is to coordinate final details of the Winter Carnival scheduled for this Saturday, March 1, from 10 to 3.
– The snow has softened from the very icy top coating that was a bit dangerous.
– The parking lot, especially the entrance, is a bit muddy with the warmer temperatures.
– The weather is looking warm (mid 40’s), and there is a 50% chance of rain, but the consensus was to continue with the event as scheduled.
– Deb sent out a map showing the location of tables, food truck, fire truck, and cooking fire. The DJ will be located in the top floor of the fieldhouse, and the church bake sale will be in the first floor of the fieldhouse.
– Parking: Peter and Walter will handle parking, with Peter from 11 to 12 and Walter from 12 to 1. The highway department has indicated that there is plenty of parking all around the highway building since the trucks won’t need to be going in/out that day.
– Deb is planning to arrive around 9 to start setting up and get the fieldhouse heat turned on. Deb suggested everyone else arrive around 10:30.
– Deb sent out an overview document detailing all aspects of the event for everyone’s review and use. Consult it for additional details.
Deb adjourned the meeting at 7:54.
