Present:  Lynne Grettum, Greg Miranda, Paul Constantino, Mike Warren, Melissa Cumming, O’Neill Mazyck

Absent:  None

The meeting was called to order by Chair Grettum at 7:09 P.M.

Review of Meeting Minutes from March 10, 2025: The meeting minutes from March 10, 2025 were reviewed by members and approved as written by unanimous vote, 5-0.

Superintendent Report (see attached report for details)

Signs with QR codes were installed at cemeteries; sign posts to be upgraded with white vinyl covers for protection and esthetics.

Surveyed cemeteries for available grave lot spaces; areas for approximately 40 graves in North, South and Woodlawn need confirmation by ground penetrating radar, at a cost of $2,000.

Removal of seasonal decorations discussed.

Anticipated spring projects (not including radar survey) are estimated to consume the remaining funds in the Miscellaneous Fund by end of FY25.

Administrative Update The guidelines for remote committee meeting attendance were discussed.

Long Range Plan– Continued

The report by G. Miranda regarding cemetery fee pricing was discussed.  Several updates and additions were discussed, including the increased number of available grave lots based on latest survey (e.g. more than 100 additional full lots found).

The latest draft of the LRP was presented by authors L. Grettum and M. Cumming, and reviewed section by section by the members.  Few changes were suggested within the completed text.  The final section regarding conclusions and recommendations is still being worked on, and topics and language for inclusion were discussed.  The authors intend to finish the draft in time for our next meeting in May.

Topics for Upcoming Meeting

L. Grettum and M. Cumming are planning to finalize a draft of the LRP for review at the next meeting.

G. Miranda to finalize report on cemetery fees for attachment to the LRP.

Schedule Next Meeting

Chair Grettum scheduled the next meeting for Monday May 5, 2025 to start at 7:00 P.M. in the Town Hall Annex – Small Meeting Room and remotely by GoToMeeting.

A motion was made to adjourn, seconded, and passed unanimously.

Meeting adjourned at 8:50 P.M.
