Seasonal Laborer Highway Department

The Town of Princeton Highway Department is accepting applications for the part time
SEASONAL LABORER position. This is a part-time, seasonal position July to
November, approx. 25-30 hrs. weekly as needed; schedule is flexible with some Saturdays
required. Under the general supervision of the Highway Superintendent worker will perform
routine maintenance operations including, but not limited to, burial site preparation,
landscaping, manual digging, stone wall repairs, brush, tree, and shrub trimming, monument
repairs, and general clean up.

The wage rate for this position is $20-21 per hour DOQ.

Qualified candidates will be able to interact with the public and co-workers in a professional
manner, work in varying weather conditions, operate and use light power equipment, drive
small dump truck, and work with limited supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to lift 75lbs
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent and one year experience in landscaping, construction, maintenance, or related field.
