Gravesite Decorations
Plantings
- One flower bed per lot is permitted on upright monuments only. It should be located in
 front of the monument and may not be more than one (1) foot wide at the face of the
 monument.
- Lot owner is responsible for the care and maintenance of plants and existing
 shrubs
- No artificial plantings are allowed
- No in-ground planting is allowed in connection with flat markers. Flowers placed on or near flat markers shall be in proper containers above the ground to facilitate mowing. Memorial
 Day geraniums planted next to Veteran’s graves are excluded from this rule.
- No plant species considered invasive is allowed
- No new shrub or tree planting is allowed
- Existing shrubs must be kept at a height not to exceed that of the monument
Decorations and Floral Placements
- Artificial flowers are not allowed and will be removed by cemetery personnel
- Seasonal evergreen and floral placements are allowed
- All Christmas decorations, including wreaths and temporary containers, must be removed by April 1st.
- All summer plants must be removed by October 1st
- Marble chips, other stone landscaping, mulch, or wood chips are not allowed
- Concrete brick, or other type of stone curbing, edging block, or railroad ties are not allowed
- No upright edging is allowed
- The placing of boxes, shells, toys, solar lights, metal designs, settees, vases, glass, wood,
 crockery, or iron cases upon lots shall not be permitted and if so placed, the Cemetery
 Superintendent reserves the right to remove the same. This list incudes examples of items
 not allowed, but it is not meant to be exhaustive.
- The Cemetery Superintendent shall have the authority to remove all worn and tired displays
 or those that do not conform to these Rules and Regulations
