Sealed bids for Westminster Road. Resurfacing & Related Work will be received by the Town of Princeton at the office of the Town Administrator until 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at which time they will be opened and publicly read.
The project will include Road Resurfacing and Related Work Westminster Road, Princeton, MA approximately 10,700 feet, 19 feet wide. Reclaim 15,180.3 SY, regrade, resurface, install 200’ of type 2 Curb and adjust 23 driveway aprons. The bid package is available by email to townadministrator@town.princeton.ma.us beginning February 6, 2025 during regular business hours.
MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Pavement Surfacing, for the project with an estimated value of $1,097,931 will be required.
Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, cash, certified check, treasurer’s or cashier’s check, or security bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid.
Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provision of the M.G.L. c. 149, §§ 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project.
The Bidding and Award of this Contract will be pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30, § 39M. The Owner reserves the right, in its absolute and sole discretion, to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
