Sealed bids for Sam Cobb Lane. Resurfacing & Related Work will be received by the Town of Princeton at the office of the Town Administrator until 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at which time they will be opened and publicly read.
The project will include Road Resurfacing and Related Work Sam Cobb Lane, Princeton, MA approximately 2,350 feet, 18 feet wide. Reclaim 4,700 SY, regrade, resurface, and adjust 22 driveway aprons.
The bid package is available by email to townadministrator@town.princeton.ma.us beginning February 19, 2025 during regular business hours.
An Optional Pre-bid conference will be held onsite Thursday February 27th, 2025 @ 11:00AM. It is strongly recommended that prospective bidders attend the Pre-Bid conference prior to submitting a bid.
MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Pavement Surfacing, for the project with an estimated value of $275,000.00 will be required.
Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, cash, certified check, treasurer’s or cashier’s check, or security bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid.
Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provision of the M.G.L. c. 149, §§ 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project.
The Bidding and Award of this Contract will be pursuant to M.G.L. c. 30, § 39M. The Owner reserves the right, in its absolute and sole discretion, to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
