Mission
The mission of the Princeton Police Department is to serve our community with integrity, fairness, professionalism, and a friendly approach to public safety.
About
The Princeton Police Department is a full-time municipal law enforcement agency. Led by Chief Paul Patriarca, the Department is budgeted for eight full-time officers, five part-time officers, and an administrative assistant. Princeton is part of Wachusett Regional Dispatch. Serving a quiet rural community with low overall crime, the Princeton Police Department is a small, community-focused agency that emphasizes proactive engagement, visible patrols, and trust-building through transparency and collaboration. Cruiser, our comfort dog, supports community outreach and wellness.
In addition to its core responsibilities, the agency is a member of the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (CEMLEC) and participates in regional operations and training.
