Important Information
- All dogs 6 months of age and over must be licensed annually.
- If you have 5 dogs or more that are 6 months or older, you must apply for a kennel license. The Animal Control Officer will have to inspect your property prior to the issuance of a license. Please contact the number provided to schedule an appointment for inspection.
- Please keep the license tag attached to your dog’s collar. If your dog gets loose or in case of an emergency, it will help the ACO get in touch with you.
Microchips
- The ACO has a universal microchip scanner which picks up identification numbers and reads all chips
- It is very important for dog owners to make sure their dogs microchips are registered with correct information
- To check your micro-chip registration details or to just confirm registration information, call the ACO
