Burial Information

Notice and Arrangements

All burial arrangements must be made with the Cemetery Superintendent
Interments April 15th through November 15th unless exception made by Superintendent
A notice of three (3) business days is required to prepare a grave for burial
A completed Authorization and Order for Interment is required
Interments are prohibited on Sundays and official Town holidays
Lot purchases are to be paid in full prior to interment
Sealed covered vaults must be provided for all casket burials
Ashes may be buried in a ceramic or granite container, otherwise the use of a concrete vault
is required. The Cemetery Superintendent can provide a concrete container for a fee.

A single grave (3’3” x 9’) may be used for either:

one (1) full body and a maximum of four (4) cremains on top of the casket. Vault size for the cremains may be restricted.
Four (4) cremains

A designated cremation-only lot (3’3” X 4’) may be used for two (2) cremains.
